Chapter 4

• Nancy did all the arrangements for Chris’s transfer him and after two hours Chris was in Johnson hospital and his surgery started. She relaxed and called Riya and told her about the situation.
• Riya arranged a hotel nearby hospital for Nancy & Angie. Late at night, Nancy checked in the hotel with Angie.
• After settling, Angie asked, “MumDa what happened to uncle?” Nancy took Angie in her arms and said “Princess! Uncle is not feeling well, he will be fine soon” and kissed her cheeks. They both slept together hugging each other.
• Next-Day Riya reached Houston after doing all the arrangements for the pair of Mother and Daughter and reached the hotel. After having their breakfast they all went to the hospital. Doctor told Nancy that Chris will take time to recover as he had many internal injuries. Angie was taken back to the hotel by her babysitter.
• Riya and Nancy were sitting in the hospital cafeteria. Nancy said “Riya, I don’t think I can leave Chris alone till he recovers once he is in good enough condition I will move back to NY with him, so you might have to look after work till then” Riya replied, “Nancy I have arranged everything I have seen a house here in Houston you will stay with Angie there and about work we both will manage it from here only I will not leave you alone here, and you remember we discussed expanding our business out of NY so I was thinking why not to start from here?” Nancy heard her patiently and replied “Riya you know I don’t want any connection with this place, so I think we should drop the idea of expanding business here”
• Riya continued “Nancy I know everything but seeing the situation of Chris I don’t think you are leaving any time soon from this place, so why not take the opportunity to think from business point” Nancy had some doubts on Riya and asked “why I feel that you already have any big lead for which you are so much interested” Riya smiled and said “Ya sweetheart, you know me very well, actually a daughter of a billionaire named Kara Miller is following me since last one month for a meeting with you, she is about to get married and wants us to design her house, so I was thinking….you know… ” 
• Nancy thought for some time and said: “ok let’s give it a try” after that they went to see Chris and later they decided to go to see the home and finalize it if Nancy likes it.
• They picked Angie from the hotel and reached the location, it was an area where all the billionaires of the city have their house. Nancy liked it because apart from having a private garden it had a big common garden, she thought she can bring Angie to spend some time and she can make friends here.
• Nancy likes the home as it was designed in a way that there was an area for office space so she thought that she can work along with spending time with Angie. They did the final paperwork and Riya arranged for a few people to get their luggage from the hotel and they unpacked their clothes and settled.
• Angie was running in the whole house, jumping, laughing. She always liked new places and she liked them here also. Nancy was happy seeing her little bundle of happiness, Riya arranged for the staff by the end of the day.
• Riya informed Nancy about the meeting with Kara Miller the next morning at 10 am. After discussing little business stuff they went to sleep. Nancy took Angie to her bedroom and did her night routine before going to bed, told her bedtime stories and made her sleep and then left for her bedroom once Angie was in deep sleep. Nancy was not able to sleep; she was having an uneasy feeling in this place from the time she had landed on the land of Houston. All the memories started flashing in front of her eyes and tears started rolling her cheeks.
• She thought she had made herself very strong in these four years, she never cried after knowing about Angie she thought she moved on but no she was still weak inside but she pretended to look aloof outside.
• Nancy woke up a little tired as she was not able to sleep till late at night yesterday. After breakfast, they went to the meeting with Kara Miller. On the way to the café, Riya gave the details of Kara Miller “She is the fiancé of the most eligible bachelor of city Mr.Owen Johnson for whom all the girls of the city dream and drool over him just at his one look, he took over the business around five years back, Johnsons are in all kind of business, in fact, the hospital in which Chris is getting treatment also belongs to Johnson’s only, but you know what he is just a playboy no-one knows why he getting married to Kara who is not that great beauty although they are also billionaires nothing compare to Johnsons, it is said that Owen Johnson is someone no one should provoke, he is known as the chameleon in the business world, he changes his color as per the situation, no one dares to cross his words and …” 
• Nancy cut her off “Riya, we are going to work for Miller’s not Johnsons so why so many details on Johnsons, and when did you become such a gossip queen and also when you did all these investigations on all these people?”
• Riya smiled and said, “sweety did you forget that’s what we do for all our new clients, that is our first rule, ok leave these listen you know Owen still flirts around even when he is engaged he..”
• Nancy again cut her off “Riya please spare me, I am least interested to know about Johnson or Millers I am just interested in doing business nothing else”. 
• Riya sighs and says, “ok, God knows when you will start taking interest in guys”. Nancy rolled her eyes and said “never”.
• They reached the café in half an hour; Kara was already sitting there with Owen and waiting for them. Nancy went and shook her hands with Kara and Owen introducing herself and apologized saying “hi I am Nancy and this is Riya my secretary I am sorry to keep you waiting”. Kara replied “its pleasure to meet you finally, I am very happy that you agreed to meet us, I admire your work a lot” and they started talking about business.
