Chapter 21 – Locked In With Danger
- “Noah, please just leave me alone,” I pleaded. My heart pounded. It was dark in the single bathroom but the light from the moon outside allowed me to get a clear view of Noah’s face. He looked almost, crazed.
- “I will leave you alone just as soon as you tell me why you decided to throw yourself at my brother,” Noah said, his mouth settling into a hard line. There was zero emotion on his face and this emotionless look made me even more afraid of him.
- His eyes were dark, his pupils dilated. Was he on something? Is that why it felt like he wasn’t hearing a word of what I was saying?
