Chapter 151 Eight: Loka
- "This is your home?" she asks with wide eyes.
- I want to tell her that it's hers now, too, but I don't think she's ready to hear that truth bomb. I want the whole pie when it comes to my sunshine, but I have to be careful not to scare her off. Does it make me a terrible man that I'm going to do my best to trap her so she can never leave me? Probably. Do I care? No.
- Savannah walks over to the floor-to-ceiling window that looks out onto the city. The lights are off in the living room and the glow from outside silhouettes the shape of her body. The sun is setting and bursts of orange and pink splash across her skin. I stare at her while every bone in my body aches for her. I don't move, because I want this image burned into my brain.
