• “Jace! You.. you scared me!” I exclaimed.
• “I’m sorry.. I. What were you thinking about?” He asked, catching me totally off guard. I don’t blame him, though. I was sitting under a tree like a damsel in distress. Talking to my Prince Charming to explain to me why he’s been doing all of this and making my life a living hellhole.
• “I…uh.. it’s nothing, Jace. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.” I sigh and look back up at the starry night sky.
