- Perhaps if she weren't so dumbfounded she would've remembered why having her mother root around in her purse was a potentially dangerous thing, but her present state of mind prevented her from having the presence of mind to come to that conclusion. It wasn't until Danielle found a small glass piece and pulled it out to reveal it that Emily began to remember.
