- We spent the day decorating the house for Christmas. Sara had warned us that the girls would all be back - at some point during the holiday break - to spend time with us again. Since the appointment with the sonographer was the week before the holiday, she was certain that most of them planned to join us then. They were all dying to get their first glimpse at the babies growing within Lauren and Meghan's wombs. That would also let the group reconvene without interrupting plans with families.
- We hung the wreathes, set up more Christmas trees than I even knew we owned, and then we tested out the mistletoe to make sure that it was still working correctly. After watching me with her daughter, April laughed that it might be getting stronger over time. I caught our resident maternal figure under it once and kissed her neck as she giggled and shoved me away. I told her that I needed a kiss on the lips to truly break the curse. She finally relented and it felt like our very first kiss as she gently pressed her supple lips to mine and looked into my eyes.
