• As we walk out of the library Kanoa links me, “Conan and I will take care of the diner today. You enjoy some alone time with your Mate.” He closes the link before I can respond and Mano asks me what is going on. I tell him about Conan and Kanoa, why they joined our Pack and that they took care of the diner the first week he was here.
• “Kanoa just linked me to inform me that he and Conan are taking care of the diner today and that I should enjoy some alone time with my Mate.” The moment those words leave my mouth I get picked up by Mano and he takes the stairs up to our Quarters two at the time, apparently not willing to waste any alone time with me.
