Chapter 9

• Celine could not sleep because of her husband's changing mood swings. She gets annoyed every time she thinks that he is already having a concern about his every reaction and emotion, even before she wasn't that concerned about Leon's every move.
• She just held her chest as she felt the rapid beating of her heart. Somehow, there are instances where she is happy with her husband’s actions, especially whenever he takes care of her. The truth is that they have a bad past, and their first marriage was not a happy one.
• She eventually left the room to grab some water. She didn't want to disturb the mansion's servants any longer because she knew they were dozing off and getting some rest. She continued to the kitchen after going downstairs. Since she could still see the light ahead of her, she didn't even consider turning on some lights.
