Chapter 24 Unannounced Visit

• Owen's POV
• I was riding my bike home after school. School closed hours back but I stayed back to paint because I had a lot going on in my mind. And it had to do with Genevieve. She's the first girl that has ever been on my mind for this long. I tried to get her off my mind but it just was not working.
• "That's because you like her. It's given since she might be our mate," Ulric said. If it was before, I would have disagreed with him right away but now, I wasn't sure myself. I've never liked someone before so I didn't know how I was supposed to feel when I did. A car honked loudly behind me snapping me out of my thoughts. I realized that I had slowed my pace due to being lost in my thoughts. But that wasn't just what I did wrong while my thoughts were a mess.
