Chapter 6

  • Louisa's POV
  • Lucas frowned and said, "Unusual? You mean, other than you were drunk while beating the crap of five hobos?"
  • "I mean... I remember that I saw something... Giant and black... It was like a..." As I was saying, I suddenly saw the painting on the wall in the corner of my eyes.
  • It was a black wolf with blue eyes, just like Lucas'.
  • "Wolf!" I shouted it out.
  • Lucas smiled and stroked my hair gently -
  • "Darling, you were drunk and you got shocked. People who are drunk and shocked see all kinds of crazy things. There's nothing to worry about."
  • "No, I mean, there is a painting of a wolf on the wall..." I said.
  • Lucas tilted his head towards me and smirked -
  • "What? You don't like that painting?"
  • "No... I don't like wolves!" I screamed out. "I've got nightmares about it!"
  • Lucas immediately seemed to be a bit hurt.
  • For a brief moment, he didn't say anything.
  • Then, he suddenly stood up and tore that painting off the wall.
  • "Hey! What are you doing?!" I asked.
  • "Nothing." He became grumpy, walking back and forth in the room, holding that picture in his hands.
  • It seemed that he didn't know what to do with the painting.
  • I felt a bit stupid.
  • He saved me from a bunch of hobos in the middle of the night and I started commenting on his artistic taste.
  • "I'm sorry..." I mumbled.
  • "Yeah! You should be sorry!" He threw that painting on the floor. "Wolves are majestic animals! They walk around and they get things done. I don't get why people hate them!"
  • "They attack people. It's a primal fear. That's just what it is." I became a bit annoyed.
  • I didn't realize that Lucas Sigler was so sensitive and moody.
  • At school, he was just goofing around with his gang.
  • Lucas looked offended -
  • "Wolves never attack people! They react! Like all the damn creatures on earth! They survive despite people! People really should mind their own business and leave wolves alone!"
  • I became silent.
  • I certainly didn't want to anger a beast in his bedroom.
  • I didn't know why he was so upset about the wolf thing, but one thing was for sure -
  • Lucas Sigler was more complicated than he looked.
  • I thought Lucas was about to walk away.
  • But he didn't.
  • He threw himself on the bed, covering his head up with the pillow.
  • Is he throwing a tantrum?
  • Seriously?
  • "People have different opinions over things. They have love and fears. Why do you care about what I think anyway?"
  • "You just don't understand." He replied in a muffled voice. "You're very important to me."
  • "We barely know each other and you can't expect that we'll be soulmates right away," I said in a low voice, trying to remove the pillow from his face.
  • "No." He held the pillow fast and would let go of it.
  • "You're like a child." I frowned and pulled the pillow again. "I might not like wolves, but I'm sure we'll have some other interests in common. Don't you want to talk about it?"
  • Lucas lifted the pillow and looked me through a crack, saying -
  • "Okay... I'm listening."
  • "I like football. If I were a boy, I would be a football player." I said.
  • Lucas completely removed the pillow from his face.
  • His eyes were beaming with light -
  • "I like football as well! It's something larger than life! I'm in my element on the field. I love the game, the spotlight, and tens of thousands of people chanting your name at the same time. It was a thrill that I can't get by doing anything else!"
  • "Not even sex?" I asked.
  • I regretted it almost instantly after saying it aloud.
  • The topic of sex made Lucas more excited.
  • "I didn't have sex with those girls. I only fucked them. But you're different." He leaned forward and held me in his arms.
  • This time, I didn't push him away.
  • His arms and chest were so firm and they made me feel safe.
  • He smelt like bergamot and citrus, which happened to be my favorite scent.
  • "I want to have sex with you," he said in a tender voice. "I want to do everything to protect you and make you happy. I want to buy you the most beautiful thing on earth and kiss you every night before you go to sleep. I want to hold you in my arms till the last moment of my life..."
  • His voice was so deep and tender.
  • It was like some sort of ancient chanting, which stroked the most primal instinct in my heart.
  • "Don't get so carried away," I murmured. "You don't even know me."
  • "So let me know more about you." He smirked and buried his head in my hair, kissing me, all the way down my nape.
  • I moaned silently and my body turned boiling hot.
  • All of a sudden, he stopped.
  • "Where did you get this?" He asked and stared at the scar on my collar bone.
  • I tried to cover it with my hand, but he held my hand.
  • "It's a birthmark," I lowered my head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I got it when I was born."
  • He lifted my face and forced me to look at him.
  • "Louisa Falco..." His voice was enchanting. Were there tears of joy in his eyes?
  • "I've spent all my life, looking for you..." He bent over and kissed the scar gently.
  • At the moment his lips touched my skin, I suddenly had a very strange feeling -
  • This intimacy was so natural! I didn't feel anything strange about it at all!
  • It was as if I had known him for my entire life.
  • He got bold by my silent permission and got on top of me.
  • I had never thought that my body could stand so much weight...
  • It seemed that it was the burden that I was supposed to carry.
  • It almost felt like I was made for this moment...
  • I was made for him.
  • "Oh, babe. You're so hot. I'm so hard now," he said.
  • I looked down and took a glance at his chunk of manhood.
  • It was fully inflated, and it was as hard as steel, with bulging blue veins.
  • I immediately panicked.
  • There's no way for him to put that thing in my body!
  • It was so huge!
  • He detected my fear and whispered in my ear, "I'll be gentle, babe. If you don't feel like doing it, just let me know. I'll stop."
  • "Don't... Don't stop..." I said with my legs wrapping around his waist.
