Chapter 7 His Rejection

• Rose POV
• I was looking into his red eyes. So dangerous, at the same time so beautiful. I glanced at his face, he was ethereal beauty. Such a handsome man was my mate? How? I didn't know if I should thank the Moon Goddess for giving him as my mate. Or should I thank her for making me fall in love with him before knowing he was my mate?
• My wolf cried in joy,
• "I told you I wanted him to protect us. Here he is, our mate. He'll love us and protect us forever, Rose."
• I was so happy and surprised that I couldn't even let out a word.
• I wanted to break the silence between us when he suddenly closed his red eyes like he tried to control his wolf. Then he opened his eyes. Now his eyes became dark black.
• He looked at me coldly and I gasped.
• "A-Arvan, you are my m-mate?" I couldn't control my stuttering.
• He didn't reply. He was just staring at me.
• "Arvan, please say something." I desperately said to him.
• "WHAT?" He yelled at me.
• I was very shocked but today I needed to know the truth.
• " Please, Arvan, tell me the truth. I'm your mate and you know that from the start, right?" I asked.
• "So what? So what if I knew that you were my mate? What do you expect me to do?" He asked angrily.
• "I don't know why you are so angry with me. Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
• "Your existence is bothering me." He said while narrowing his eyes.
• "What?" I asked.
• Before he could answer, Lina came.
• "Baby, why so late? What are you doing here with her? " She hugged Arvan's arm and glared at me.
• He had a girlfriend. How could I forget that?
• But I was his mate. What about me?
• "I'm doing nothing babe, just wishing her. You go first. I've something to discuss with her." He said to her.
• "What discussion? I don't want to go inside, I'll be with you here." She said proudly.
• Arvan got mad and glared at her like she wasn't her lover but only a random girl and gritted his teeth.
• "JUST GO."
• Lina was taken aback and nodded immediately and said, "Yeah, you are right. I think Rita needs me there. I'm going inside." Then she smiled at him and left.
• Why did he behave like that toward her? Didn't he love her?
• "Listen to me very carefully, girl." He started to talk to me.
• "You are not my type." He said.
• "Your type? " I asked.
• "Yes, my type. I'm an alpha, not a normal one that lives a normal life. I'm the head alpha here. I lead the whole pack. A vulnerable omega can't be my mate." He said rudely.
• "I'm not vulnerable, I can protect myself," I retorted back.
• "You can protect yourself, but can't protect my pack. Being my mate means being my Luna. The Crismon Red pack's Luna." He corrected.
• I was listening to him confusingly. His every word was giving me pain.
• He started again,
• "Just look at my mom. She is a powerful female alpha. Normal wolves can't fight with her. She could protect her pack on her own when she was our Luna."
• "What are you trying to say?" I controlled myself and asked.
• "I'm giving you examples of the perfect Luna. You don't suit being my Luna, and being My mate? That's beyond your imagination. I'm a Trueblood, so I definitely need a powerful mate."
• He said proudly.
• "What are you trying to say, A-Arvan?" I asked sadly.
• "It's Alpha Arvan for you." He replied coldly.
• "I'm sorry, Alpha Arvan." I mumbled while looking down. I never thought I had to get insulted like that. My mate was insulting me and my wolf continually.
• "In my pack, there is a rule that The Alpha and Luna can't reject each other. This rule was created in ancient times. But now I'm the head Alpha here, I can change my pack's rules, and I will." He declared.
• "What do you mean?" I asked shockingly.
• He came too close to me while looking at me. He grabbed my chin and whispered,
• "I'm going to reject you, mate."
• I was startled. I didn't know what to do. Should I call my mom to persuade him? Should I call Alice? His parents? What would I do if he rejected me?
• I touched his arms and tried to convince him,
• "Please Arv-Alpha, don't do this with me. I can't bear it. You are my mate. It's our fate. I know I'm a very weak omega, nothing but a low creature in front of you. But I'll learn everything for you. I promise, one day when you need me I'll try my best to protect our pack. I'll do anything for our pack and you. Please just don't reject me."
• He pushed my hands so hard that I lost my balance and fell to the ground.
• I couldn't stop my tears this time. Tears rolled down my eyes continually.
• "Stop crying, bitch. Don't dare touch me again with your filthy hands. Don't be over-smart and play the sympathy card with me. Your dad saved my dad. I respect him, he did his duty respectfully till his last breath. But that doesn't mean for him I'll bear you. I won't take your omega burden with me. You don't deserve to be my Luna or my mate. You didn't even know before that I'm your mate. But you still tried to come close to me, always staring at me like a desperate slut. I know you very well, omega." He humiliated me mercilessly.
• I wanted to tell him that it was not my desperation to seduce him, it was my love for him. I wanted to tell him that I fell in love with him before knowing that he was my mate. I wanted to tell him that I loved him dearly. When he told me to stay away, I didn't try to disturb him because I loved him.
• I wanted to tell him that I was afraid of rejection, not because of the consequences I would have to bear.
• But because of the pain, I will have to bear with my broken heart.
• "Arvan, I'm your fated mate. You can't reject me. It's our destiny. Even if you reject me, our mate bond won't be severed and you know that very well. You can't just break the law which was established by our ancestors. Our destiny has bound us together." I tried to convince him.
• He sneered as if he didn't care at all.
• Before I could say anything more, what he said broke my heart, shattered my soul, and made my wolf cry in pain.
• "I ALPHA ARVAN BLACK REJECT YOU ROSE LEE AS MY MATE AND AS MY LUNA."
