• Skye hoped that this was all a bad dream and that any moment she would wake up and find herself in the soft bed of the beautiful chamber Talisha had provided her. Skye secretly pinched the top of her hand to make sure she was asleep, but the sharp pain she felt confirmed her worst fear; she was awake. It was not a dream but a bit of reality.
• Talisha!?! Skye furrowed her brows. Is it possible that Talisha knew about today and didn't apprise her? Skye pursed her lips and her palms into fists. If something like this happened, she would never forgive her. Never!
