• This was my time. This was our time. I had been trying to make them believe me all this time but they had chosen not to. Things wouldn't have gotten to this stage if only they had. We wouldn't have to watch everything go down the way it had earlier today. No one would have been hurt and we wouldn't have to watch the vampire king slap his bride. We wouldn't have had to watch and hear him sound so broken after he realized what he had done.
• It wasn't that I was happy at what had happened because it made them believe me. I didn't like any of it. What was meant to be a day of happiness to the couple became a day of agony. I was even sad that it had happened because I was worried that the dark wizard was fully taking over the mind of the vampire king if he couldn't control himself from hurting the woman he loved.
