Chapter 26: Blinding Lights – Part ll
- "You are not welcome here, Owen! Get out!" Ophelia hissed as she picked up her handbag.
- "Ophelia let's talk things out please!" Owen pleaded in a desperate tone, and Ophelia refrained from rolling her eyes. "There is nothing left to talk about. Leave!" Ophelia curtly said as she walked closer to the elevator. Owen stood in her way, obstructing her route, and her jaw clenched with frustration. "Move Owen!" Owen begged again as she snarled through gritted teeth. "Ophelia, how can you forget those three years? We had so much fun, those years were magical! You're my soulmate, Ophelia! I admit I made a mistake; I'm not sure what got into me, but I apologize! Please don't leave me!"
- "Don't whine! Those years are in the past and it was good while it lasted but what you did is unforgivable! I need you to leave before I call security!" As she walked past him toward the elevator, Ophelia growled. She was stopped when Owen grabbed her hand. "Let go of my hand Owen!" Ophelia growled turned her head towards Owen. "No, not until you speak to me properly. Not until you give me the opportunity to explain myself." Ophelia's rage only grew as Owen shook his head.
