Chapter 10
- OPHELIA'S POV
- As I slowly opened my eyes the excess light which washed through the room made me dizzy and half blind, rubbing the back of my palm over my eyes made me wince in pain with the sudden pain that shot through my wrist. Memories of yesterday hit me like a tsunami, and the blurriness in my eyes vanished.
- I tried sitting up straight, but a severe ache shot through my lower back. I remembered being tied down, stomach-facing the bed, last night. Has he come to release me himself and dress me in this white robe? He had turned my dress into rags last night and now I was in a white, thick robe. The roses all gone and something struck me once more as my finger fumbled with the rope of robe pulling the sleeves down my shoulders to check if he had come back into this room to go further in my unconscious state.
