• Dahlia stared at the general still in a state of shock. She saw his eyes, and there was no mistaking what she saw in them; desires.
• It then occured to her that perhaps he had always desired her, but he controlled himself out of respect for her. Now he wanted her to see, and she was surprised that she affected him that much.
• Lorenzo on the other hand didn't take his eyes off her, nor did he try to hide the desires in them. He still stared at her with that almost predatory look, and she gulped nervously. But she couldn't just back down, she was too proud for that.
