- “Come with me. There’s something I want to show you.” Creed continued staring into my eyes as he tucked a piece of my hair behind my ears.
- He’s trying to distract me, and it’s working. I blinked my eyes and looked away to pull myself out of the trance I fall into every time I look into his eyes.
- I looked around at everyone, “what’s it going to be? Do you agree to leave him alone for a while?”
