- Her cheeks were heating to a deep red at my taunting comment. Threatening to make her admit that she was unarmed.
- “What is this?” I asked more abruptly as I pressed her skirt in at the top of her crevice and saw her wince as the dress flattened against her hip bones.
- “You’re hurt.” I noted. Snatching my hand back from her to keep from causing her further injury. “Who abused you now?”
