• Chase gazed up at him in the dim light of the room and it was almost enough to make Aries cry. “Up!” Chase wanted to see him from close. Aries stretched his hands out in his direction, his finger flexing as he hesitated for a moment before finally taking him up in his arms.
• Aries is awestruck by the fact that he has created him. He marvels at his features, expressions, movements, and sounds. He gazed at Chase with wonder and amazement. He noticed how his baby had his eyes, Veronica’s nose, and a cute dimple on his chin.
• Aries felt a surge of love and joy. And as he promised in their first meeting, Aries showered him with kisses and the little bundle of joy giggled as his stubble tickled the side of his face, and in response, Chase held his face in his tiny hands to stop him.
