• Sitting in the car, I closed my eyes to rest. Sensing the heavy silence, Spike asked, "Alpha Derek, did you have a falling out?"
• "It's not so much a falling out as it is unfinished business," I sighed, rubbing my forehead. "That woman is completely out of her mind. Even after all these years, she's only gotten worse. If I'd known how things would turn out, I wouldn't have been so soft-hearted and helped her back then."
