Chapter 7

• Flora fluttered her brow as she saw the look of a deep obsession on his face. She had only met Orville two days ago and he was this obsessed about her already.
• Flora swallowed the lump in her throat and didn't know what else to say .
• "You can keep reading, sweetheart," Orville said and stood from the bed.
• He went to sit by a couch that was by a side of the room, he opened his laptop and began to review some of the activities of his company.
• Flora couldn't read for a while, instead, she kept stealing glances at him. He was backing her but he looked adorable.
• Flora wondered if this man had fallen in love with her so soon? Either he loves her or not, they would have to part ways after two months anyways. She wasn't ready for marriage.
• Flora read few more writings on her phone before falling asleep. When she woke the following day, she didn't see Orville in the room.
• She had no idea if he even slept beside her overnight or he slept beside her and woke early.
• She got off the bed and got dressed in her school wear, since her clothings was new, she looked more beautiful in it.
• She then walked out and sighted Hannah setting the food at the dinning.
• She walked towards her and greeted," Good morning, ma."
• "Flora, how was your night?" Hannah arranged the dishes well first before raising her head towards her.
• "Great and yours?" She questioned.
• "Great also. You look beautiful," Hanna complimented.
• "Thank you, "she said.
• "I just served your food and that of your husband, please, come and sit," Hannah said and gestured to a chair that was before the dinning table.
• Flora felt awkward when she heard Hannah refer to Orville as her husband.
• He was her husband after all, only that she was not used to it yet.
• She went to sit and nervously waited for Orville. Looking at the dishes, it was as though a professional cook made the food.
• Orville was a billionaire, she shouldn't be surprised that Orville would employ Hannah to work with him cause of her skills.
• Soon, Orville appeared. He was dressed in a deep black suit that accentuated his slim body.
• He sat elegantly with a broad smile on his lips," Good morning, princess . Did you dream about me?" He spoke very softly.
• Flora was forced to let out a faint smile while staring at his hazel's blue eyes," of course, I slept well and you?"
• "Erm...I actually didn't sleep. Let's eat," he said and Flora gazed at the food before them.
• Why didn't he sleep all night? She wondered. Was he thinking about something or he was busy with something? Flora didn't know why she was concerned about him. She concluded that he sure knows how to live his life. Afterall, he had been living his life before he married her.
• She began to eat, same with Orville.
• About few minutes later, Orville said," take this!" He was stretching a spoonful of food and stretching it towards her mouth.
• Flora raised her gaze and saw that he wanted to feed her. She was his wife anyways,she opened her mouth and received the food.
• She blushed as she chew the food.
• After she was done eating her food, she stood," I'm done, I need to leave to school." Flora checked her wrist watch and saw that she would soon be running late if she spends more time at home.
• Orville was not done eating but he cleaned his mouth and stood, he said gently," let's leave."
• As they walked outside, Flora wondered if he wants to drive her to school. She actually didn't want her classmates to know that she had got married. It will look awkward and many may even mock her for it.
• Once they got before one of the super exorbitant cars in the house, Flora had to speak up," are you driving me to school?"
• "Did you want me to?" Orville asked gently.
• Flora shook her head in response, "I don't want people to know about our marriage," she didn't know how Orville would feel about this statement so she lowered her head and avoided his gaze.
• They would be divorcing in the next two months anyways so why should they make their marriage known to the world. Since they married in private, they could live in private for the two months and divorce after two months. And then, everyone can move on with their life.
• "Alright, sweetheart," Orville took her hand and kissed the back of her palm. "Take care in school."
• A driver who had already been in the driver's seat stepped down and opened the backseat of the door for Flora.
• She stepped in elegantly and Orville watched as the car drove her away.
• Orville had instructed the driver not to dare to utter a word to his wife so the driver remained quiet until they almost reached Flora's school.
• "Can you stop here?" Flora asked.
• "Young miss, we are almost at your school," the driver said but was now driving slowly.
• "No, just drop me here," Flora said.
• If many students sees her get down from an exorbitant car like this, they would start suspecting that something was odd.
• "Alright, " the driver said and pulled over. He quickly got off the car but before he could get to where he would open the door for Flora, she already opened the door and stepped down.
• "Young miss, please don't do this next time. It's my duty to always open the door for you," the driver said.
• Flora smiled," Orville is not here so please be calm, sir. I have a hand that can open the door of the car so why should I wait for you to open the door for me? Good bye, sir." Flora began to walk away from the man.
• Soon, she arrived at her school.
• She was one of the poorest student in school and so, many wealthy students don't associate themselves with her.
• Unlike many students who had one or two friends, Flora didn't have any friend. She was always lonely.
• Once she got done at school, she goes back to have fun with her younger brother at home, that was before he got sick.
• As Flora walked to her class, she overheard some girls talk about the fact that Benine will be resuming school the following day.
• Her heart constricted against her rib cage when she heard this.
• Benine? Her bully. If there was anything Benine loves the most, it was to bully her.
• When Benine got transferred to a different school a year ago, she was very happy about it, it was as if an heavy burden was taken away from her shoulder but what was she hearing this morning?
• She turned to those three female students who were leaning by the corridor's gate and asked," hey girls, is Benine really resuming tomorrow?"
• They all turned to her at once and the one in the middle smirked," haa...are you scared that your thorn in the flesh is coming back?"
• Another girl added," she definitely is. Benine will frustate her more this time than the previous time."
• "Benine is resuming tomorrow, better get prepared for him." The third girl added.
• Flora's heart became heavy, she turned and walked away to her class.
• With her two hands on her desk, she bite her lips and prayed in her heart that Benine would avoid her this time.
