Chapter 10 A Surprise Visit

• As Alpha left for an urgent meeting after breakfast, Charlotte was free. Taste of freedom refreshed her soul. She finally realized the misery of Sired Vampires. Indeed slavery takes a toll on you, leaving you mindless and unproductive. Most of the slaves become puppets to gain their Master’s approval, unable to think straight.
• Charlotte remembered all the incidents that her Sired friends told her about the twisted experiences and swore to never lose her sanity in this debt repayment. It was true that she was indebted to him and even had a crush too but still she was a free soul. So, she decided to never compromise on her freedom again.
• Alpha locked Charlotte in her room before leaving, keeping the keys with him to restrict her movements. In this dire situation, Roslie became her savior and helped her out. As an old worker, she had a spare pair of key’s set of the Pack house. Charlotte helped her in house hold works, literally taking the whole responsibility as a gesture of appreciation. Luna was also satisfied with her efficiency, she also agreed to keep it as a secret from Alpha.
