• I watched as Zenovia slept peacefully beside me. She was on her side, facing me. The morning sun aided me to have a pretty good look at her. The light freely came in through the glass wall. The curtains were not drawn as usual, since this part was safe from any long-distance attack or attempt on my life. The hotel was near the edge of a cliff. My bodyguards downstairs had this side covered as well, just in case.
