Chapter 5 Crazy

• DAMIEN'S POV
• "What do you want here, Elise?" I asked coldly as I saw Elise walk in.
• She wanted to sit beside me but I was quick to stand up and face her.
• "I.. I..." She let out, stutteringly, she was obviously disoriented by my cold stance.
• "I have been thrown out by my father. Please, I have nowhere to go except here." She said, shakily.
• "You have no place here, Elise! Leave now." I declared and she froze. I couldn't look at her the same way anymore after what happened.
• "What... What did you say?" I asked, in shock.
• "I say you have no place here anymore! Leave! Get out of my life! You are the cause of all this! Go!" He yelled and I staggered, in shock.
• "Please, don't do this to me. I have nowhere else to go. You know I'm innocent, uncle!" She said as she was about to go down on her knees to beg me.
• But before she could do that, I took hold of her hand and dragged her out of the house.
• I flung her out and her body landed on the floor with a loud thud.
• "Go, Elise, and never come back! You are a pain in the neck!" He said and directly shut the door.
• "You think I do not know what you did, huh? Do you want to get back at me for hitting on you? Did your parents send you to do this?" I yelled, in anger.
• But then I didn't need any answer from her! I already figured it out on my own.
• "Don't do this to me, Uncle." She said with a dejected tone.
• "I'm not responsible for whatever happened." She reiterated but I couldn't believe her.
• I never had sex with her, how then could she put up such a thing on the internet? It showed how vile she was.
• "Go!" I stood on my word.
• "If I leave now, I'll never come back! I might end up dying. Is that what you want?" She asked but I could care less.
• I still had to think of a way to diffuse the situation from affecting my company.
• "Yes. Who cares if you die? I'm already lenient with you for not sending you to jail!" I said with a nonchalant tone and then turned around to walk back inside.
• However, before I shut the door in her face, I could see the look of regret and sadness in her eyes. Most of all there was hatred in them and I felt scared for a minute.
• But I was quick to shake off that feeling and in the next second, I slammed the door in her face.

• I got back into the house and picked up the bottle of alcohol I left. I downed the content in one gulp and I staggered.
• I felt shattered and hurt and I felt betrayed by the girl I had watched over.
• Ever since Elise's 18th birthday, I had watched her grow into a young woman. I couldn't take my eyes off her as my feelings and attraction for her grew.
• I longed to take care of her and that was the sole reason why I offered her a job. But I never knew I would fall into a web of intense love while I start to work with her daily.
• I couldn't suppress my love for her anymore and I summoned the courage to confess to her only to be turned down.
• But then I never knew that she would stab me in the back that way.
• Slowly, I took out my phone to cross check the evidence of her wrongdoings. It was sent anonymously but it couldn't be denied that she had tried to sabotage my image when I never even touched her.
• One hour passed and I was shrouded in darkness but then I heard the clicking sounds of heels. Slowly, I looked up to see Nicola walking toward me.
• My phone was still in my hands because I was constantly checking the evidence just to make me really believe what happened.
• "I see what you got there..." She said, pointing at my phone as she stood before me.
• "What do you want here?" I asked, through gritted teeth. Seeing Nicola reminded me of how cruel a woman can be. She was another perfect example.
• After cheating on me, she expected me to take her back. There was no way I could do that.
• "I want you, Damien." She replied, straightforwardly. In the next second, I laughed out loud. My laughter echoed through the whole house and swiftly, it came to an abrupt end.
• "You can never have me, Nicola!" I said.
• "Now, leave!" I added, with resoluteness and with so much disgust in my eyes.
• "Too bad, I have you now." She said and I frowned.
• "Have you gone crazy?" I asked with a confused look in my eyes.
• "Yes, Damien. I have gone crazy for you and I will do anything to get you. I will wipe out whatever woman that is in my way. It does not matter if you love that woman or not." Her words resounded in my ears and I gasped.
• She was obsessed with me and it was crazy because she cheated on me.
• Added to that, my brain clicked and a guess came to my mind.
• "What did you do, Nicola? Did you do something?" I asked, in panic.
• "Did I?" She asked.
• "Yes, I did. I'm sure your little niece would be running far away from you now after the little video gift I gave you both."
• "No matter what you do. You will always come back to me! For the record, I'm the second biggest shareholder in your company now. And I can take you off your CEO seat, if you don't act right!" She said and I was filled with so much disbelief.
• "Nicola..." I let out, as I began to shake in anger.
• "I'll kill you." I declared as I rushed toward her. I caught her by the neck and squeezed it tightly.
• But then she looked back at me, with a crazy smile.
• "Choke me, baby." She said and I gasped.
• I realized that I had landed myself a crazy woman while I lost the person I loved.
• What will I do now? Regret washed over me and right at this point, all I wanted was to have Elise back again.
