Chapter 29 — Killing Intent

• I wasn't sure if Elise was involved in what happened but it wouldn't be right to stain our hands with blood. If anything happened then it would only confirm the allegations that were leveled against me.
• "No Dad, we shouldn't resort to violence or murder." I opposed, shaking my head at him. "An investigation can be carried out with probably a few threats and that should be all,"
• "Why is that?" My dad asked, squinting at me. "Aren't you curious to know who did that to you? Because it was well thought out and the consequences were well estimated. Don't you want to know the person who could be so tactical as to damage your reputation to such an extent!"
