Chapter 6 Bring Me Lunch
- My heart began to race as Mr. Blackwood approached me, with those piercing fiery eyes that burnt through my skin with the heat of hell. With a little space between us, he paused and his eyes were locked on mine. I think it was at that moment that the real weight of my decision dawned on me, the shadow of my thoughts hung over me. He slowly placed his hand under my jaw and made me look up at him, my heart stopped and I froze.
- His cologne hit me; it smelt so good, more like expensive. I didn’t want to look into his eyes any longer than I had already done, but he was still holding up my jaw. “Sir…” I stuttered, not knowing what to say.
- I knew I couldn’t refuse him, as per the agreement that we had. With his left hand, he began to unhook his neck tie and my heart skipped a few beats. Why was he loosening his tie?
