• Gabriel hugged Rosalind afterward. They lay on the bed, saying nothing as they needed to cool down their body temperature and even their breath. She was still in the haze of pleasure and passion, so her brain couldn’t process what Gabriel said. As Rosalind lay on the bed with closed eyes, savoring the bed softness and his embrace.
• But then, after a few minutes, she creased her forehead and removed herself away from him. “How could you say it’s our first night?” She folded her arms over her chest.
• He raised his eyebrow. “Because it’s indeed our first night.”
