Chapter 4 That Annoying Bengal Cat

  • "That guy—how did I end up here with that Bengal cat?" Olivia expressed her frustration. Olivia complained, not expecting that she would be dealing with someone like Zaydan. Now, she found herself ensnared in a lavish villa alongside a stranger who shared her bed for the night.
  • Olivia, who was in the dining room, saw the servants arriving with fancy plates of food. They neatly arranged the plates on the not-so-large round table.
  • At the same time, Zayden walked into the room, already wearing his clothes. Olivia looked sarcastically at him as he casually sat down in a chair at the dining table.
  • "Sit down," Zayden ordered.
  • "I don't want to," Olivia replied. "Why are you keeping me here? Let me go."
  • "Sit down." Zayden reiterated his command without seeking a counterargument.
  • Olivia finally sat down in front of Zayden with a sigh. Zayden began to eat her food quietly, and Olivia sat in front of her with a sullen and annoyed face.
  • Zayden put down her knife and fork, and then her sharp gaze fell on Olivia. "I don't like being watched while I eat," Zayden said.
  • "Then what do you want?" protested Olivia irritably.
  • "Eat."
  • "No way," Olivia replied, folding her arms across her chest.
  • "It looks like you'd rather eat in the company of my men," Zayden said, making Olivia sneer. She picked up a fork and stabbed the meat with it. She immediately shoved the large piece of meat into her mouth, smearing the corners of her lips with the marinade. Olivia didn't care about eating so messily in front of Zayden. She wanted to get out of there and see Aland as soon as possible.
  • "Finish it, then I want to talk to you," Zayden said.
  • "Um?" Olivia was stunned for a moment as she savored her meal. 'What is this meat? How can it be this juicy and so soft? The marinade really penetrates into the meat; it's really a food paradise,' Olivia thought as she spooned the meat into her mouth. And the taste really spoiled her tongue.
  • 'Um, really good.' Olivia was so engrossed in her meal that she failed to notice the disappearance of a single piece of meat. She looked back at the plate of meat with a hungry gaze. That activity did not escape Zayden's eyes.
  • Olivia glanced at Zayden, who was focused on enjoying her food. It was an opportunity for her to take another large piece of roast meat and transfer it to her plate.
  • "I didn't know perverts like you were so greedy," Zayden quipped as Olivia shoveled food into her mouth. Olivia tried not to care and savored her food with gusto, ignoring Zayden's strange look.
  • "Ah, full," Olivia said, rubbing her stomach and wiping her lips with a napkin. "I'm done eating, so now let me go, honorable sir!"
  • Olivia got up from her seat and walked towards the door.
  • "Who sent you?" Zayden's question stopped Olivia in her tracks. The woman turned her body toward Zayden, who was drinking wine from his glass.
  • "Sent me? What do you mean?" asked Olivia in confusion.
  • "In the hotel room and tonight. Obviously, you're trying to spy on me, aren't you? " "Tell me, who sent you?" Zayden asked, setting down his glass and rising from his seat, his hands tucked into his pants pockets.
  • He walked over to Olivia, who was still standing there.
  • "Tell me, or will I force you to talk?" Zayden asked.
  • "No matter how you force me to talk, there's no way I can answer. I question why I found myself trapped with you both last night and tonight. You have destroyed my marriage, and my lover no longer trusts me. And what exactly happened that night?" Olivia asked, staring at Zayden in front of her.
  • This was the first time a woman was neither mesmerized nor intimidated by Zayden's frightening glare.
  • "You think I'll believe a word you say?" asked Zayden.
  • "I don't need you to believe me. Cease restraining me and allow me to leave; I am not your prisoner!" Olivia cried out in annoyance.
  • "Answer my question first. If your answers are reasonable and acceptable, I'll let you go," Zayden said.
  • "I don't know how I ended up in that room with you, especially since I don't remember what happened that night," Olivia complained. "And as for tonight, I was looking for a safe place to sleep. I thought this villa was empty, so I intended to sleep in the tree house in the big tree; who would have thought to see you naked and trapped here?" she complained.
  • "So you're really a pervert looking for an opportunity?" Zayden asked, making Olivia roll her eyes in annoyance. It felt pointless to talk to the man in front of her.
  • "I already answered your question, sir. So, let me go now, okay?" Olivia turned her body around.
  • "You said you were looking for a place to sleep, so why are you leaving now? Where are you going?" Zayden asked.
  • "I guess it's none of your business!" replied Olivia.
  • "You can't leave the villa tonight. After making sure you are not a spy sent by my enemies, I will let you go," said Zayden.
  • "I don't think it's necessary to spy on a pervert like you. Even swimming outside, you're naked," Olivia complained.
  • "Why, this is my privilege. No matter what, you're the one who entered someone's house without permission," Zayden replied, managing to stab Olivia with his words.
  • Olivia could only swallow her saliva. "Yes, you are right. This is your villa," Olivia replied.
  • "Bobby!"
  • Not long after, a man came towards them. "Take him to the guest room; make sure he doesn't escape," Zayden said.
  • "Yes, sir."
  • "What the hell? You don't have the right to hold me!" rebelled Olivia, but Bobby forcefully pulled Olivia's arm away.
  • "Let go! You bastard cat!" screamed Olivia until Bobby had to carry her because Olivia kept struggling and biting Bobby's big body.
  • "Clif!" called Zayden, and soon a man came into the room.
  • "Yes, sir."
  • "Investigate that woman's background in great detail. Don't let her be a spy sent by the enemy," Zayden said.
  • "Yes, sir Zayden."
  • After that, the man named Clif walked away.

  • "Damn it!" Olivia was frustrated and threw a pillow at the door.
  • "I ran away from Grandpa, only to be trapped in the house of a bastard cat!" she complained, rubbing her face furiously.
  • "He's really sneaky. Feed me delicious food, then lock me up. What a sneaky cat!" Olivia shouted, kicking the door and trying to open it. She banged on the door until she was tired, and her hands were sore.
  • "Argh!" she shouted tiredly and chose to sit on the floor listlessly.
  • "I have to get out of here quickly. I need to see Aland immediately; after all, I don't want him to continue misunderstanding me," she muttered.
  • She moaned, "However, what is the best way to escape this?" as she racked her brain for a solution to that dilemma.
