• My eyes fill with fresh tears as I gaze up at the woman whose promises got me into this mess. I feel like a fool. How did I not see that she doesn't really have the power to make me the Queen of this kingdom? Her powerful son didn't even blink when I said that she wanted me to stay in his palace.
