• Originally, Alaric could have left after obtaining his rewards. However, Favian didn't want him to go. He wanted Alaric to personally lead the way and find the exact location of the Spirit Sect. If not, he would reclaim all the previous rewards.
• Because of this, leaving was out of the question for Alaric. He had to figure out a way to notify his subordinate, Ollie, the scout who had seen people coming out of the Spirit Sect's entrance—the person most familiar with its location.
