• I looked at myself in the mirror for the thousandth time. I had that red dress for years and had never worn it. It was from a reputable brand, but too simple for a big event and too flashy for everyday use. It was strapless with a flat, tight bust and the skirt was made with a large amount of the same fabric as the top, but with a beautiful fit and volume, in a long length. I opted for gold sandals with a thin heel and no accessories, as I thought the model exposed my breasts too much.
• I tied my hair in a low ponytail to accentuate my long neck. Whenever I was asked what part of my body I liked most, I said it was my eyes because I was embarrassed to admit that I loved my neck.
