Chapter 87 Zoey Is Threatened

• Zoey could tell immediately that the photo wasn't a deepfake or AI-edited image; it was definitely Leanna. She clenched her phone tightly, walked into the meeting room, dismissed the session, then went into her office and opened her laptop to pull up the surveillance footage from after Leanna had returned home. She needed to know where Leanna had been taken and by whom.
• She found that the surveillance footage in Leanna’s apartment’s underground garage and along the route afterward had been deleted. Zoey quickly typed on the keyboard to restore the footage.
• The footage revealed that before Leanna entered the garage, a man wearing a hat and mask, dressed in a black T-shirt and black pants, had broken into her car and sat in the backseat. Not long after, Leanna entered the garage and got into the car. The camera angle wasn’t great, but it showed Leanna struggle briefly before going motionless. Two minutes later, the man drove off.
