Chapter 50 "Cold"

• “Time for us to leave, hun. The car’s waiting,” Fabio almost whispered to my ear, but it wasn’t totally a whisper because I was not the only one to hear it. Surely, Walter and Wendy heard that, too.
• I suddenly felt my cheeks burn because of how close he was to me, and he wasn’t even hesitating being this close to me in front of other people!
• I chose to get myself together, though, and turned to my friends to wave goodbye. “We gotta go now, Walter, Wendy? Have a great day. Anyway, it was nice seeing you again, and Wendy, it was nice meeting you.”
