Chapter 21 Her Deduction
- Vanna stood on the balcony of the luxurious hotel after a successful dinner meeting with both families. Despite Avery's absence, she felt content because it seemed like his family adored her. She couldn't see any reason why they would object to their marriage. She felt reassured and at ease, believing that their union was solid and unbreakable.
- As she took in the view, she sensed a presence behind her. She turned her head to find Avery's cousin, Logan, standing there. "Hey there, Vanna. What are you doing out here?" he asked, taking a sip from his glass of scotch.
- "Just taking a moment to enjoy the view," she replied with a smile. "It's beautiful up here."
