Chapter 20 Caught

• At Kai's mansion, Becca awoke with a mischievous smirk, her mind set on escape. Glancing out the window, she noticed an absence of guards around the shimmering pool down below. Excitement coursed through her veins as she studied the surroundings, swiftly recognizing a ledge where she could hang onto while descending the towering structure. A playful laugh escaped her lips as she contemplated the depth of the pool, realizing she certainly didn't want to risk diving in and breaking her neck.
• “I am a gymnast; I can do this.” She said to herself With determination fueling her every move, Becca carefully climbed onto the windowsill, her heart pounding with adrenaline. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the daring leap she was about to make. As she prepared to jump, a feeling of liberation washed over her, momentarily drowning out the consequences that awaited should she be caught.
• Without hesitation, Becca leaped from the window, gracefully maneuvering through the air until she began her descent towards the waiting pool below.
