Chapter 1 Prologue

• The loud sound of the alarm clock was what woke Steven up from his deep sleep.
• Without even opening his eyes, he groggily searches for the bedside table but he couldn't find it. He's sure that it was just right next to his bed, where he always put his alarm clock.
• He opened his eyes and carefully moved around but he immediately groaned when he felt his head aching.
• He seems to have been drinking a lot last night.
• Only when the ache in his head disappeared did he look around the room.
• His forehead furrowed when instead of the blue wall, it was a white wall that he saw. Even the things that he's seeing inside the room aren't his.
• "Where the hell am I?" He asked himself.
• The alarm clock rang again and it surprised him a little. He looked for it and he saw that it was on the other side of the bed.
• He was about to sit down when he felt something on his stomach and even on his feet.
• His eyes widened as he turned to see a person next to him, who was covered by a blanket.
• "Did I sleep with a random girl last night?" He asked himself again.
• He tried to remember what happened last night. From how Shaina rejected him and insulted him, to how he went to a certain bar and got himself drunk. He got so wasted that it was even so hard for him to get a cab. After getting a cab and telling the driver where his address is, he can't remember anything anymore. He doesn't have even a single idea of what happened next.
• He doesn't remember that he went home with a woman last night either. Also, he is one hundred percent sure that this isn't his room and he is not in his apartment!
• What did the cab driver do to him?
• He looked at the person beside him again, who's still fully covered by the blanket. Then he slowly raised his hand to remove the blanket from the stranger.
• His heartbeat was so fast and it was so loud. He is freaking nervous. He was so drunk last night that he can't remember even a single thing. What if this person is in a relationship with someone? Or worse, married? He doesn't want trouble.
• He was about to remove the blanket from the stranger's face when it suddenly moved, causing the blanket to come down. And he was so surprised when instead of a woman, he saw a man. And he's naked! Both of them are naked!
• He gasps and his eyes widened. Even his body froze. He felt like his heartbeat stopped for a few seconds. But he was even more surprised when the stranger suddenly opened his eyes.
• Steven was not able to talk when their eyes met. The stranger smiled at him then greeted him with it's sleepy and rough voice.
• "Good morning, Steven." The stranger said.
• A few more seconds passed and Steven just stared at the stranger as his brain is still trying to process everything that he's seeing right now.
• But when the stranger moved closer towards him, his face on his neck, that's when Steven’s senses finally came back.
• He pushed the stranger away from him then he instantly jumped out of the bed.
• "Steven..." The stranger said but he did not pay him any attention.
• He quickly picked up his clothes that were scattered on the floor then he immediately got dressed and left the room without looking back.
• With big steps, he searched for the door out. He could hear the stranger calling his name but he ignored him, pretending he didn't hear anything.
• He shut the door so hard when he finally got out. He closed his eyes as he leaned against the closed door.
• "What the hell just happened?" He whispered.
• He stayed in that position for a minute before he finally opened his eyes.
• He looked around. He is not in a hotel. It seems like he is in an apartment.
• He was about to leave when the door of an apartment, that is just right in front of him, caught his attention.
• It looked familiar.
• He took a step closer to the door. He wondered several times why it seemed so familiar. Until realization hit him.
• It's his apartment!
• He stares unbelievably at the closed door of his apartment when the door of the opposite apartment suddenly opens and he sees the stranger that he woke up next to.
• "Hey, neighbor." The stranger said while grinning from ear to ear.
• Steven felt like he was going to lose consciousness at any moment now.
• "What the fuck." Is the only word that came out of his mouth as he stared back at the stranger.
