• The morning dawned with thunder rumbling in the distance, and rain poured down from the darkened sky. Alex, as on any other workday, found himself preparing to leave for his job. As he glanced out the window, contemplating the wet streets below, his mind drifted to Ira, who was staying over at his Manhattan apartment.
• The thought occurred to him that in such weather, it might be a rather romantic gesture to offer Ira a ride to her office. Imagining the two of them together dancing in the rain, he couldn't help but smile at the notion. However, his reverie was interrupted as Caitriona, entered the living room.
• Caitriona walked towards Alex and inquired, "Shall we leave, Alex?"
