Chapter 10 You Should've Hit The Brakes

  • I couldn't help but tremble slightly.
  • Subconsciously, I found myself hoping that person was Sang Qi.
  • Why?
  • Because he was attractive? Because he was wealthy?
  • But if it wasn't Sang Qi, then who could it be...
  • My mind was buzzing.
  • I let go of Yao Keyi's hand and slowly turned towards her car.
  • "Where are you going? Come back and explain yourself!" Yao Keyi shouted from behind.
  • She was holding onto Sang Qi and didn't want to let go, so she couldn't catch up.
  • I walked towards her car, feeling a bit dazed, and my heart was in chaos.
  • "Open the car door, I'm leaving."
  • She had already been pushed away by Sang Qi and was now entangled with Sang Qi's assistant.
  • She didn't have time to pay attention to me, and I didn't have time to watch her get involved with a man who didn't want her at all.
  • "Yao Keyi, open the car door!"
  • I raised my voice and picked up a brick from the ground. "If you don't open the door, I'll smash the window!"
  • "Are you challenging me?"
  • She thought I wouldn't dare, but she didn't understand me very well.
  • I raised the brick and smashed it down, but the first hit didn't break the glass.
  • But I could try a few more times.
  • Yao Keyi saw that I was serious and had no choice but to let go of Sang Qi's assistant and run towards me, crying as she ran, "You crazy person, you're crazy!"
  • She still couldn't bear to leave her luxury car and opened the door for me.
  • I sat in the passenger seat.
  • "Take me back."
  • The exhibition center was too far away, and we couldn't even find a taxi here.
  • She looked at me as if I were a fool. By the time she reacted, Sang Qi's car had already driven past us.
  • She stomped her feet in frustration and cried, "Sang Sang, Sang Sang! My Sang Sang!"
  • She cried while driving, smudging her makeup.
  • After she finished crying, she started scolding me, "You cunning person, if I can't have Sang Qi, you can forget about it too."
  • "I never wanted him in the first place."
  • "You're lying. Sang Qi is so attractive and wealthy, you definitely like him. You just don't dare to admit it!" She gritted her teeth.
  • She really couldn't listen to reason.
  • I couldn't be bothered to argue with her. I turned my head and casually glanced ahead, almost getting scared out of my wits.
  • "Car, car! Yao Keyi, watch the road!"
  • Yao Keyi finally looked ahead, and a car was coming towards us.
  • "Ah, ah, ah!" She screamed and violently turned the steering wheel. Our car careened towards the flower bed on the side of the road.
  • "Step on the brake, you idiot!" I shouted loudly to remind her, but it was too late.
  • The tremendous impact deployed the airbags, hitting my face and causing immense pain.
  • Everything in front of me started spinning, and I couldn't see anything clearly.
  • Fortunately, I wasn't hit in the stomach.
  • "Help! Help!" Yao Keyi's screams were piercing and full of energy.
  • She must be fine.
  • I breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that no one was seriously injured.
  • Before long, I heard hurried footsteps approaching.
  • Yao Keyi cried out, "Sang Sang, Sang Sang, save me!"
  • "...He's here?"
  • My vision started to darken, but I vaguely saw a figure approaching.
  • Then, I fell into a warm and comforting embrace.
  • "Xia Zhi! Are you okay?!" Sang Qi's voice sounded anxious.
  • "...I won't die." I pursed my lips, instinctively clutching his clothes tightly and closing my eyes.
  • Unfortunately, he's not the father of the child...
