She’s staying in a different room. Normally I wouldn’t be this bothered if I didn’t want her to stay with me in my room. When last has it been since I actually held her in my arms? When last has it been since I had her here with me, peacefully laying by my side on my bed? The highlight of my nights back then was watching her beautiful self sleep. Even though I always had one thing or the other keeping me awake, watching her was the most reassuring and satisfying thing ever. It somewhat gave me peace.
I always wondered how it’ll be when I finally understood what was going on with her and brought her here. I know alright, and she’s here but things seem different. Things seem strained.
