• I swear I’ve been pacing forever. Serena told me to give her an hour, and it felt like she said it would be a few days. I couldn’t believe that I had heard from my sister. I wasn’t sure I would ever hear from her again, if I’m honest.
• It’s been hard to focus, but I did see Sonya being carted away. She was in shackles, and she looked pissed. I probably would be, too. I kind of can’t believe that her dad went along with this. Then I thought about my own father, and it makes sense. I’m still seething from the altercation with my own father, so Aida reaching out is right on time.
