Chapter 70

• Few Minutes passed and Alfred didn’t show any sign of leaving, Derek checked the wall clock and it was already 8am which indicated Vanessa might be on her way back from jogging down the Estate.
• “ I don’t think she’s here” Alfred said in his mind, he opened his eyes and they fell on Derek who was staring at him. “ I have to go now, I can see you’re Busy” He stood up and Derek shook hand with him. “ Please Tell me when you find Vanessa and Mara” Derek pleaded Worriedly and Alfred smiled. “ I will, I know how you’re feeling” He said and Derek nodded his head. He opened the Door for Alfred and he walked out, Derek didn’t mind walking him to the Car because he wasn’t ready for any heartbreak if Alfred sees Vanessa coming back. He closed the Door and took in a deep breath.
• “ What should I do if he sees her?” He stamped his feet on the floor. He was still in the state when the Door opened, he turned around thinking it was Alfred who had returned back again. “ Hey Derek” Vanessa Entered the room Carrying Mara on her right side. “ Why did you come back now?” Derek quickly locked the door. “ Why are you over reacting?” She asked him putting Mara on the couch. “ He came, didn’t you see him leaving?” He asked and she nodded her head. “ Nope” Vanessa said and Derek heaved a sigh of relief. “ He just left now” He sat down on the couch and heaved a sigh of relief again.
