• Tuesday morning, we weren't sure what was going to happen. June and I were going to work. Brandy had taken the week off in anticipation of a week in Key West. It would be difficult for Brandy to go to work and have tell everyone what happened. I was pretty sure they would know since a couple of Brandy's co-workers were at the wedding. Neither June nor I wanted Brandy here alone. She insisted she was fine, but we very much doubted it. Since Brandy refused to go to work, June called in sick. If we didn't trust her to be alone tomorrow, I'd take the day off.
• When I got home that evening, Brandy looked much better and was more herself. I gathered that June and she had a lot of conversations. We even went out for dinner to a sea food place. Brandy was smiling and enjoyed the outing. Actually, June was more reclused than Brandy. We knew we'd need to have a talk when we could be alone.
