• I woke up very early for me. It was only 9am, which for me was still the middle of the night. A ridiculously early time. It was my fault that I was awake though as I had failed to close the curtains properly before I went to bed, and as soon as the sun appeared over the houses opposite it shone directly on me. The brightness disturbed my sleep, but it was the temperature that woke me up properly. I shed the duvet in my sleep, but even that wasn't enough and eventually I woke up. I opened one eye, wincing at the general brightness that greeted me and I curled up onto my side.
