Chapter 10 The Creep Is Back

  • Troy directly hugged her from behind as she was trying to leave.
  • "You still have the familiar scent and warmth."
  • Cassandra was already on the verge of exploding with anger and this embrace pushed her over the edge.
  • She raised her elbow and jabbed it backward.
  • Having been tempered by life-and-death experiences, Troy tilted his head slightly and dodged her elbow strike easily.
  • Yet, missing her first attack didn't discourage Cassandra. Her arm quickly returned, and her hand clamped down on Troy's arm.
  • Then, her two long, stocking-clad legs, carrying a charming scent, flew up and wrapped around Troy's neck with a burst of strength from her waist.
  • Seeing her stance, Troy exclaimed excitedly, "D*mn! I like this deadly scissor kick!"
  • Cassandra's movements flowed like water, and she pulled Troy to the ground with the momentum, locking him tightly.
  • Not only did Troy not resist, but he actually enjoyed the current position.
  • After all, what man wouldn't want to be locked in place by a beautiful woman's long legs?
  • However, Cassandra suddenly applied force before he could enjoy it for too long, nearly snapping his neck and breaking his arm.
  • Troy could have easily freed himself with brute strength, but that would've injured Cassandra.
  • Left with no choice, he cried out for help.
  • "Lia, save me!"
  • Lia saw the situation and realized she had gone too far. She quickly stepped forward to intervene.
  • "Cass, it's all a misunderstanding. I was joking with you. He's not a gigolo I hired, he's the creep!"
  • Cassandra knew who the creep was.
  • Although this man is also named Troy, he can't possibly be the same person as the creep.
  • Thinking Lia was still playing with her, she retorted, "Lia, have you lost your mind? Creep disappeared ten years ago."
  • "I know creep went missing, but... Anyway, this person is the creep!" Unsure how to explain, Lia ended up mumbling a lot of nonsense.
  • Until she had concrete evidence, Cassandra wasn't going to believe easily.
  • "Lia, I know you miss Troy, but don't forget that creep was just a child ten years ago. He can't be alive! Besides, you've investigated over the years. You couldn't find any trace of him!
  • "Now, you're a spokesperson for the National Directorate of Security, so there are bound to be shady people trying to get close to you for money. Don't trust scum like this too easily!"
  • D*mn, all this fuss, and now I'm stuck.
  • Seeing Lia was at a loss for words, Troy decided to explain himself.
  • "Cass, Lia really isn't lying to you. I am the creep! What do I have to do for you to believe me?"
  • Cassandra sneered, tightening the pressure of her legs around his neck. The perfect blend of softness and firmness made Troy's heart flutter.
  • "A pervert like you doesn't deserve to be called Troy. How dare you want to impersonate my brother? You must provide me with convincing evidence, if not, I'll crush your head today!"
  • Presenting evidence was easy enough. Over the past ten years, Troy had replayed countless memories of life with his sisters, and those moments were etched deeply into his mind, never to be forgotten!
  • "Cass, I still hadn't weaned when I was eight. Every night, I had to sleep in your arms. To help me stop breastfeeding, you tricked me into a room and introduced me to an 80-year-old granny.
  • "Once, we got caught when you accompanied me to steal chives. While running away, you accidentally stepped into a latrine.
  • "To keep me quiet and stop others from finding out about that embarrassing moment, you promised to show me your new bra that night."
  • Troy continued.
  • One by one, these past events spilled from Troy's mouth. Cassandra's mind played them like a movie. Each bittersweet, sad, and heartwarming moment from the past reappeared.
  • Her eyes glistened with tears as she stared at Troy, unable to believe it. "Creep, is it really you? You didn't die."
  • As she spoke, she released her grip on his arm.
  • "Cass, not only am I alive, but I've come back!"
  • Even though Troy and Cassandra were lying on the ground, their emotions couldn't be hidden.
  • They locked eyes for a few seconds, then hugged each other tightly.
  • Cassandra's tears overflowed, soaking Troy's shoulder.
  • She cupped Troy's face, her emotions a mix of longing and bitterness, intertwined with joy.
  • She even wondered if this was all just a dream.
  • "Am I dreaming? I've dreamed of this scene many times, but you're gone again when I wake up."
  • Troy took Cassandra's small hand and placed it on his cheek. "Cass, this isn't a dream. The boy you once loved has returned. From today on, I won't leave you again!"
