Chapter 28 {Lex Departure/ Comfort}

• Lex stood before the Damsels Inn, its quaint facade illuminated by the gentle glow of the evening sun. His heart was heavy with the weight of his decision, torn between his duty as a prince and his desire to stay by Diana's side. He knew that his identity must remain a secret, for the safety of both himself and Diana, but the thought of leaving her behind filled him with a deep sense of loss.
• As he gazed up at the inn, his mind wandered to the time he had spent with Diana, the moments of laughter and camaraderie they had shared. He knew that their paths were destined to diverge, at least for now, but he couldn't shake the hope that one day, they would meet again.
• With a heavy sigh, Lex turned away from the inn and began to make his way down the cobblestone street. He knew that he had to leave, to disappear into the anonymity of the city, but the thought of never seeing Diana again left a bitter taste in his mouth.
