Chapter 10 Can I Have Your Number?
- On the way back to school, Felix passed by a stall selling chestnuts. He bought a pack and ate them.
- "Here you go." Felix held the chestnut at Han's mouth.
- Han raised his hand to grab it, but Felix avoided it, so Han had no choice but to open his mouth up to eat it.
- The both of them went back to the classroom. Felix peeled all the chestnuts, put the nuts in a bag, and gave it to Han. He then washed his hands.
- After returning to his seat, Felix took out his textbook.
- "There is no tutoring session today."
- Felix looked at him in confusion, "Why?"
- "You wanna have class?"
- Felix shook his head quickly and put away the textbook.
- "Go to sleep," Han said softly.
- Felix did not understand why there was no tutoring session until he was lying on the table. He turned to Han and said, "Is it because I have to run later and you want me to rest?"
- Han ignored him and continued doing the questions in his exercise book.
- Felix smiled, "Since you're not saying anything, I'll take it as a yes."
- Han said coldly, "We can have our tutoring session if you don't want to sleep."
- "I'll sleep, I'll sleep." Felix turned his head back in case he changed his mind.
- Han smirked upon seeing him like this.
- Noon passed and it was time to go to the field again. Han woke him up.
- Felix sat up sleepily and leaned on Han's shoulder.
- "It's so cold." Felix placed his hands into Han's jacket.
- Han's eyes widened and his body froze. He did not dare to move.
- Just as Felix's face touched Han's side profile, the aroma of shampoo penetrated Han's nose.
- Felix smirked and Han stood up all of a sudden.
- He pretended not to notice anything and rubbed his sleepy eyes. He then looked at Han and yawned, "What's the matter?"
- Han glanced at him uncomfortably then picked up his bag and walked towards the door.
- Felix chuckled, then chased after him.
- The second Sport's Day event was the 5000-meter race. Felix stood up when his name was called.
- Han was still in a daze and sat on the stool without moving.
- "Won't you come with me?"
- Han did not look at him, he replied, "Nope."
- Felix squatted in front of Han and said with a grievance, "But I accompanied you this morning."
- His expression was like a neglected puppy, it was adorable yet pitiful.
- As soon as the others saw Felix squatting in front of Han, they started judging them quietly.
- Felix still squatted there stubbornly even though he drew lots of attention.
- Han dragged him to the stairs quickly.
- Felix wore his number, stuffed his jacket into his arms, and looked at him with expectant eyes.
- They were facing each other but Han did not utter a single word.
- When the referee started to assign the tracks, Han looked at Felix and said, "Good luck."
- Felix chuckled and said, "Just wait for me here."
- Upon seeing Felix being assigned to the second lane, there was a burst of cheers.
- "Come on, Felix! Do your best!" All the female students were cheering for him.
- The male students were frowning in dissatisfaction. However, they could not blame him when they saw Felix's face on the track
- Everyone on the track ran as soon as the gun was fired.
- It would have taken twelve and a half laps around the track for a distance of 5000 meters.
- Felix maintained his composure at the beginning and started running at full speed when there were three and a half laps left.
- He was in second place during his last lap and overtook the person in first place.
- Felix could not sit down immediately after a long and intense race, so he had to pretend to be tired and pant and rested his arm on Han's shoulder.
- Han did not shake his hand off although he felt quite uncomfortable.
- The both of them walked around the field then signed their names to double-check their results and went back to their seats.
- "Felix."
- There was a commotion when the others saw Lisa.
- Han looked over and noticed that it was Lisa and her friends. His eyes turned cold.
- Felix knew that she was up to something since he was experienced in completing many tasks.
- He looked at Han, wanting to see his reaction.
- Although Han was as cold as usual, he could feel that Han was unhappy.
- "Can you come with me?"
- Han glanced at him and said softly, "They asked me for your number."
- "What did you say?" Felix beamed at him.
- "Be honest."
- Lisa saw that Felix did not come over instantly and chatted with Han. Her eyes grew watery.
- "Felix!" The girl next to her could not stand it anymore and called out to him.
- Felix was trying to comfort Han but a trace of impatience flashed through his eyes when he heard that cry.
- He walked towards the stairs.
- "What's the matter?"
- Lisa blushed, "Let's go somewhere else, Felix."
- "Just tell me what you wanna say here, I have something to do later."
- If he went somewhere else where Han could not see him, he knew that his likeability towards Felix would decrease drastically.
- Upon seeing this, Lisa whispered to him, "Can I have your number?"
- "Sorry, but no," Felix refused. "Anything else?"
- Lisa glanced at him in disbelief and felt sad.
- Normally, her friends would have spoken up.
- However, they kept quiet when they saw Felix's face up close.
- At that moment, Felix turned around and glanced at Han, "I'll head back if there's nothing else."
- "Felix." Lisa stopped him.
- Her eyes were teary, "Did Han tell you something?"
