Chapter 1 A New Life
- "Rosie, I'll take care of the devil, leave with Joseph."
- However, the pear-blossoming woman before her shook her head frantically and clung to him.
- With affection in his eyes, he said, "Rosie, I hope you and Joseph grow old together!"
- After finishing his sentence, he pushed the woman aside before charging with his sword.
- "Thomas, no!"
- Ding!
- "Task of stunning the female fairy plane is complete, and the vital signs of the plane are vanishing. Are you sure you want to board the next plane?"
- Felix smirked as he hit "Confirm."
- Ding! The plane transfer was successful and the data was normal.
- Felix stretched out after opening his eyes and felt the soft bed he was lying on.
- He got up and opened the curtains. The morning sun shone on him and the warmth made him feel happy.
- Felix walked into the bathroom and took off his pajamas.
- He lifted his eyebrows satisfactorily and observed his face and body in the mirror.
- Ding! "Would you like to receive the plane data?"
- Felix selected the option to accept it and felt the warm water on his skin.
- His name was Felix and he was the son of a real estate agent in that dimension. His mother passed away twelve years ago and his father remarried. He also had a stepbrother.
- He was a rascal and hung around with bad people. However, his father did not care.
- Raid target, "Han Evans." Mission, "Become lovers."
- Felix paused as he wiped his hair and said, "A man?"
- "Yes."
- He raised an eyebrow and said, "Interesting."
- Felix opened his closet and picked out an outfit that fits his style.
- During the mission, "Make the target hate you."
- Felix's fingers rested on the third button and frowned, "Is the system being infected by a virus?"
- "The system works fine. Please carry out the mission carefully as it is an S-level plane."
- Felix could not help but swear after receiving his final task.
- "Do you need to increase his favorability towards you even if you already made him hate you?" He lay on his bed after he was done talking. "Skip this task by deducting my points."
- The S-level plane cannot be skipped. As the player refuses to carry out the task, the system is going to start a self-destruct countdown. "5, 4, 3…"
- "Stop!" Felix sat up and grinned, he uttered a few words, "You're the system, you have the final say."
- The family of three was having lunch peacefully when Felix came down the stairs.
- His stepmother poured him soup as soon as he sat down at the table.
- "I want to change schools, Dad." The three of them looked at him as soon as he said those words.
- "What are you fussing about? There's only one year left in high school." Chris said with agitation.
- "It’s precisely because it's my last year and I wanna study hard in a new atmosphere."
- Chris sneered as soon as he heard that. How could he not know what his son?
- Seeing that his father was about to refuse, Felix said hurriedly, "I want to attend Brighton Academy, it's in the city."
- "Chris, let him go if he wants to," murmured Maggie, who was seated next to him and had a gloomy look in her eyes. "Anyway, you and the principal of Brighton Academy are friends."
- Maggie was eager to get Felix out of his current school. The tuition fees here for one semester were worth tens of thousands, which was the property her son would inherit in the future.
- Since Felix had already brought up the topic, his stepmother would help him in doing so.
- Chris glanced at Maggie, then cleared his throat, "I'll let Mr. Hills handle it for you tomorrow."
- …
- Ring!
- There was a commotion in class when the homeroom teacher brought Felix in.
- "Settle down." The homeroom teacher knocked on the table.
- "He's your new classmate." The teacher turned to Felix and added, "Say something to get everybody know you."
- Felix said a few words and after he was done, Mr. Hayes told him to pick a seat.
- "I want to sit there, Mr. Hayes." He pointed, and everyone in the classroom looked at the seat near the window.
- The homeroom teacher was hesitant. It’s not a good spot for a student who has some connections to the headmaster.
- "You can see well from the third row, why don't you sit over there?"
- Felix frowned, "No thanks, Mr. Hayes."
- After speaking, he got off the podium and walked to the back row.
- There were discussions in the classroom once more. The homeroom teacher knocked on the desk and said, "Alright, take out your textbooks, let's start our lesson."
- The homeroom teacher left the classroom as the bell rang, marking the end of the period.
- Felix placed his bag away and stretched his hand out to his deskmate and grinned.
- "Hi, I'm Felix."
- Ding! "Likeability level -20."
- Felix was confused.
- His body stiffened, "System, do I have something stuck between my teeth?"
- "The host is clean and tidy."
- Felix retracted his hand and observed the other person's hair that was covering their eyes.
- Felix glanced at his deskmate and the textbook. "Han Evans" was written on it.
- We have a long way to go…
- Four periods had passed as the bell for the lunch rang.
- Felix got up from his seat and stretched.
- Since he was a delinquent in Plane, he had to stick to his character until the end.
- Enthusiastic enough to accomplish the task, Felix propped his head on the table and said to his deskmate, "Hey, it's my first day here, where do I…"
- "I'll take you to the school's cafeteria, Felix." A voice interrupted him.
- Felix narrowed his eyes and smirked. He turned to the girl who offered her help. "Thank you, I think I'll go with Han…"
- "Han never goes to the cafeteria. He always brings his meals with him from home."
- Han took out a lunch box from his bag expressionlessly as if to prove what she said was true. He then placed the lunch box on the table.
- Felix went silent and ignored the awkward atmosphere. He got up and said to the girl, "Then, please bring me there." He intended to take the opportunity to collect more information about his target.
- The girl blushed and felt her heart pounding. She smiled and waved her hands hastily. "No worries."
- The both of them exchanged words on the way to the cafeteria. Felix replied politely.
- He did not notice that her heart was fluttering as they spoke.
