• Within a few minutes they were fanning themselves too and we shared a comment or two about the heat. It was like a fifth person in the room and had to be acknowledged. As we continued to wait I realized that my wife had apparently not noticed what was going on with the bottom of her robe. And even as I watched her I could occasionally see the fabric slide further apart.
• While our male visitor was a good ten feet away, I became aware the he was taking furtive glances between my wife's legs. I wasn't sure exactly what he could see, but it was clear either he saw or thought he saw something he liked by the way he kept looking over. After a bit of time passed I had to know what he was looking at and so I decided we needed refills on water.
• As I returned from the water pitcher I quickly understood his interest. Not only had the robe fallen open even more, but my wife's legs were ever so slightly apart. I am certain she had done it unconsciously because of the heat.
