• Jen parked outside Melissa's condo and opened her car's trunk. She grabbed several hangers draped with colorful materials -- all of the window treatments for the condo. Some Mel had purchased, and Jen had altered to fit, and some Jen had made from scratch. Her mother had made sure she was an adequate seamstress before she left for college so, making things for Mel had been enjoyable.
• "Here comes the pizza," Jen heard over her shoulder.
• "Good, I'm hungry."
