• My position was pretty uncomfortable for sleeping so I decided to slip from underneath Octavia and sneak off to my own bed, but I woke her. She told me she was gonna head to bed as well and stood with me. We were both hesitant to leave each other's presence, I could tell as we walked slowly up the stairs, slower through the kitchen and into the hallway where our rooms were on opposite ends. If I were braver, I'd have led her to my room or followed her to hers, but being afraid to take anything but baby steps, I opted for a simpler gesture.
